Susan Fall began her focus on the transportation industry in 1993 while employed by technology pioneer, Qualcomm. By July 2000 she had identified a gap in available services – technology companies needed expert guidance on how to successfully enter into and continue engaging in the commercial vehicle segment of transportation – so she founded LaunchIt Public Relations. Now, 25 years later, Susan’s strong and passionate dedication to the transportation industry and the field of public relations has been the cornerstone of success for some of the most successful technology companies in trucking.
With the advent of autonomous, driver-assisted and connected vehicle technologies, the trucking industry is experiencing a technological surge that hasn’t been seen since the introduction of GPS in the 1990s. Susan and her LaunchIt team of trucking experts combined with the infrastructure and reach of the Stryker-Munley Group will be a very powerful, rapid and cost-effective public relations solution for any supplier in the commercial vehicle space.
In addition to her professional experience, Susan is committed to the trucking industry on a personal level as well. She is a founding member of Women in Trucking and has served as a board member for Truck Writers of North America, Professional Truck Drivers Institute, and Trucker Buddy. She also serves as a Trustee for the Truckload Carriers Association (TCA) Scholarship fund, is an active member of the TCA Image committee and currently serves on several task forces for the American Trucking Associations Technology & Maintenance Council. Susan has been awarded “Rigster of the Year” honors for two consecutive years (2016, 2017) by TCA for her efforts in promoting and increasing membership in the organization.
Prior to her career in trucking technology, Susan worked for the U.S. Canoe and Kayak team in preparation for the 1992 Olympic Games in Barcelona, Spain. She holds a degree in Communications from the University of California, Santa Barbara, and has two beautiful children.
